After 12 years as an engineer and expert in risk management for large-scale projects, I followed my passion for music and have spent the last five years as a DJ. Now, I’m launching Meant to Beats DJ School here in Houston. Our mission is to inspire and equip young talent, with DJ skills, and entrepreneurial know-how (advance classes) to address the imbalance in a male-dominated industry.Â

- Learn to use real, pro-level DJ equipment

Aspiring DJs who are just starting out!
The group of students (ages 12+) learn the fundamentals of DJing, including beatmatching, mixing, and song selection, as well as basic music theory and equipment setup.
