Hi, I’m Carina Lopez

After 12 years as an engineer and expert in risk management for large-scale projects, I followed my passion for music and have spent the last five years as a DJ. Now, I’m launching Meant to Beats DJ School here in Houston.

These lessons aren't just about music.

It's about:

Confidence
Creativity
Life Skills
Community

And most importantly?

Making sure young talent knows they belong in music.

"You have got to sign up your daughters!

What an empowering way to build their self confidence, own the room, have so much fun, and uplift others.

They’re not just learning to DJ they're learning music theory, math, and how to count beats.
It’s creative and educational.

Honestly? This would be perfect for birthday parties or even getting your girlfriends together for one of these classes!"
